International Lease Consultants was founded in 1975 by Willard Bronstein. After spending many years working in the truck leasing industry, Bill recognized an entrepreneurial opportunity to service the leasing customer and decided to open his own consulting firm. At the time, there were a number of truck leasing companies operating on a local, regional & national basis. Bill was one of the very first consultants in the industry and he built ILC by providing his clients with trusted advisory, negotiation and auditing services that both saved money and improved their operations. Larry Feldman, another industry veteran, joined Bill in 1977 and the firm began to grow.
Since 1975, ILC has supported customers throughout North America. Today, our core operations are headquartered in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. We are an international company and service clients throughout all regions of North America who operate fleets of various sizes and types.
From the beginning, having ILC on the side of the lease customer has helped “level the playing field” for their businesses. As the number of suppliers has decreased through mergers, acquisitions, consolidations and closures, the essential need for trusted advice in order to help navigate the ever-changing world of truck, tractor & trailer leasing has never been greater. The industry continues to evolve through new regulations, technologies and more. ILC remains on the forefront of the industry and works alongside our customers to support their businesses and enhance their growth.

Willard “Bill” Bronstein
Chairman of the Board
Bill Bronstein founded International Lease Consultants in 1975 after successfully building a career working for Hertz Truck Leasing & PepsiCo Truck Leasing. Bill recognized early on that there was a unique opportunity on the other side of the table, advising and assisting the lease customer on how to negotiate more effectively, save significant money and secure more favorable contractual agreements. His passion and persistence on behalf of ILC's clients remains as strong today as it was back in 1975. Bill is a proud Army veteran and a graduate of Temple University. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family - especially his grandchildren - on the beach at the Jersey Shore.
Richard Bronstein
President and CEO
Richard Bronstein joined ILC in 2000. Initially, Richard focused on expanding the company's marketing efforts but as the business grew, he moved into the role of a full-time Consultant. Working closely under his father, Bill Bronstein, Richard developed his knowledge of truck leasing and the larger industry. Today, Richard is the President of ILC and a well-respected expert in the truck leasing industry. Richard has a BFA in Communications from Temple University and currently lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with his wife and 2 children. He has a life-long passion for music, Philadelphia sports teams and supporting ILC's clients.
Terry J. Peters
ILC-ML (Division President)
Terry Peters joined ILC in 1990 and has spent the majority of his professional career in the truck leasing industry. Terry began developing his experience with Ryder Truck Leasing in 1978 before being recruited by Rollins Truck Leasing. As the Director of National Rental Development at Rollins, he was responsible for new customer development and was instrumental in building their successful National Rental program. In 1986, Terry joined Miller Truck Leasing and further developed his industry knowledge. Terry is a graduate of Bloomsburg University with a BS Degree in Business Management and a proud member of the Union League of Philadelphia. Terry lives in Mt Laurel, New Jersey with his wife, Debbie.
Joe Coleman
Senior Advisor
Since 1975, Joe Coleman has been developing and building upon his expertise in the truck leasing industry. He worked for Hertz as well as Lend Lease before starting his own consulting firm, Coleman & Associates, specializing in clients throughout the greater Washington D.C. area. In 2017, Coleman & Associates was purchased by ILC and welcomed into the ILC family. Joe currently acts as a Senior Advisor to ILC and its Clients.
Lija Balodis
Director of Administration
Lija is the Administrative Director for International Lease Consultants and has worked for ILC since 2016.
Prior to joining the ILC team, Lija spent 15 years in upper managerial positions within the Philadelphia restaurant industry.
Through her experiences in hospitality and customer service, Lija’s skills in organization and client relationship management have contributed to meeting the needs of ILC clients. Lija lives in Center City Philadelphia and during her free time, enjoys yoga, traveling and spending time with her loved ones and friends.
Lawrence “Larry” Feldman
Senior Advisor
Larry Feldman has worked in the truck leasing industry since 1961. He started with Hertz and multiple successor companies until joining ILC and helping to develop the New York and New England region. Partially-retiring in 2017, Larry works as a Senior Advisor to ILC and its clients. He is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and resides in Greenwich, CT.
